Tzaziki
Fresh yogurt - cucumber dip. This dish is often made with BBQ dishes in Turkish cuisine. This recipe is also very well known in Greek cuisine. Here instead of fresh mint herbs, dill herbs are added to the dish. Both variations are delicious!
Time to get started
- Grate the cucumber in a deep bowl. Squeeze any released moisture with a spoon and remove this moisture as much as possible.
- Squeeze the garlic cloves over the cucumber.
- Mix all yogurt with the cucumber mixture
- Season with salt, olive oil and a little lemon juice.
- Finally sprinkle the yogurt with mint herbs and Pul Biber for a fresh spicy taste.
Your shopping list
- 1 bucket of 10% Turkish or Greek Yogurt 1000ml
- 1 large cucumber
- 2 cloves of garlic grated, or: 1 tsp Miras garlic powder
- 1 dessert spoon Miras Mint
- 1 dessert spoon Miras Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Miras Pul Biber.
- Optionally :a pinch of salt and a little lemon juice and a few drops of olive oil
